Remember your worth

Photo by Annie Spratt on Unsplash

Adrift in the darkness
Alone and unsure of the future
Shadows of uncertainty
Clouded by a fog of unbelievability

Lost, yet found
Found, but lost

A circle of inevitability
The line of fate realised
New year, we now relate
Present, slipping across time
Into an obscurity called past
Diminishing from sight
With each fading light

Lost, yet found
Found, but lost

Resolutions made, maybe kept
Bells a ringing at midnight
Old becoming new again
Ambition reignited
What’s never done is lost
Hope for better is found

Love of friendship
Love of choice
Love of humanity

But in these newfound revelations
Remember your worth
And love of self
For it’s that lost selflove
In need of being found
Which will define YOU!
Once lost, now found from within
