Upon my voyage through

the stars only seen

within a lens pointed

skyward

I float amongst

an imaginary dreamworld,

intersecting the darkness

of twinkling space

…

Spiralling out into a

distant expanse

circumnavigating

the planets I pass

…

Taking in the reds,

oranges and blues

glowing in the blackness

of the Milky way

…

In search of you, Polaris,

my North Star,

my guiding light,

my destination in life

…

For amidst the universe

the vastness is great

but my world, my galaxy,

my orbit is defined by you

…

The glowing Sun

to my ice-cold Neptune

warming me from

outside to within

…

While my mind flies free

amongst time and space,

the heart within begins

defrosting in hope

…
